Connect the Classroom is a government program led by the Department for Education to improve internet access in UK schools.
In today's digital learning environment, reliable school Wi-Fi is crucial. To address this, the government has launched a funding program to help schools with poor Wi-Fi connections, ensuring equal learning opportunities for all students.
Who is eligible for Connect the Classroom Funding?
To be eligible for Connect the Classroom funding, schools must lack Wi-Fi connectivity according to Ofsted’s standards. The program focuses on 55 Key Education Investment Areas that need the most support.
Schools outside these areas may also qualify based on their Ofsted ratings. Check the official government website to see if your school is eligible.
